Hosting A House PartyWelcome to LEAD International’s house party section! Here, we have put together materials and information that will help you plan, coordinate and organize events to raise visibility and support for LEAD International. House parties are a lot of fun. They are a reason for friends to gather, to learn, to share together, and to do something to change someone’s life! We provide menus, recommendations on how to run the party, and everything you need to start right in. Most importantly you don’t have to be an expert on LEAD, poverty or Africa. ANYONE can do a house party. Through entrepreneurship the LEAD partnerships have successfully created sustainable cashew processing businesses. This partnership includes: Workers in Africa, LEAD’s staff, and YOU! Together, we are living proof that each one of us can bring lasting change in the poorest countries in the world. You truly have a direct impact on the success of African business owners. When you host a house party to support LEAD International’s work, your financial gifts fund the expansion of an existing business or provide for the start up of a new business. Virtually all you generously give is applied directly to rural farms – an approach almost unheard of in the development community. Join us in the fight to break the cycle of poverty by hosting an event in your community. You are the key to raising awareness and financial support for families and business owners in West Africa. Visit our house parties group at LEAD International’s Blog! Resources To Get You Going! The first step in hosting a house party is to fill out our very brief House Party Registration. We will send you a House Party Kit that will have all of the tools and information you need to have a successful party. The kit includes:
